Great Falls Reston Soccer Club (GFRSC) is excited to announce its newest World Cup- level partnership with Inova Sports Medicine and Inova Urgent Care. The primary goal of this partnership is to bring athletes, families and coaches in our community access to a world leader in personalized health. Inova has offered the following services to GFRSC that we feel will benefit our membership and provide GFRSC athletes an advantage.

1)      Access to hotline for sports medicine questions, scheduling, etc.

2)      Access to 24-hour concussion hotline for concussion questions, scheduling, etc.

3)      Priority access to orthopedic/sports medicine appointments (offered within 48 hours)

4)      Online concussion education program compliance program (tracking of coach completion)

5)      Concussion baseline test administration (discounted rate of $30/test)

6)      Creation of injury management/health resources webpage for parents/coaches

7)      EXOS Sports Performance and Personal Training

Inova Urgent Care is committed to serving our families in the Great Falls and Reston area. As a pediatric designated site we are especially designed to care for sick or injured children and teens. We collaborate with our partners in the Inova Children's Hospital ERs to train our nurses and techs, arming them with the extra special skills needed to care for younger patients and their families. In addition, child life specialists work with our staff and providers to make certain we do everything possible to help children have a positive experience, and minimize pain or anxiety. Our medical providers all also work in the Pediatric ER at Inova Loudoun Hospital, so they are quite adept at handling the needs of your young athletes.
