Keystone parents come through for Annual Fund
From Director of Development Mrs. Villafranca: Keystone parents continued to show their support with strong participation in this year's Annual Fund. We achieved 94.26 percent participation and raised $195,024 within five weeks. This far outpaces the participation among independent schools nationally, which ranges around 64%.

Giving Tuesday brings support
Thank you for supporting Keystone on Giving Tuesday. This was the first year our school had participated in the global event and we raised $2,460 for the Daniel Wesley Stevens Memorial Endowed Fund for Teacher Support.

This fund will help more faculty with continuing education and professional development opportunities.
Billy's Blog: From the Head of School
“A classic is something that everyone wants to have read and nobody wants to read.”
Mark Twain

When Keystone’s ninth and eleventh grade English teacher told me that his students were reading Nathaniel Hawthorne’s “The Scarlet Letter,” my interest was piqued. Was this nineteenth century classic and perennial junior year selection still a good choice, I wondered. On the one hand, I could see students finding it dated; on the other hand, some might find the tale of adultery and ignominy all too relevant in an era of online shaming and the #MeToo movement.
