NEW HOT LUNCH PROGRAM
We are thrilled to announce our partnership with 'Epicurean', our new hot lunch vendor.
Parents will now place orders and payment on-line directly through the Epicurean website.
No more hot lunch forms in the office! Hot Lunch orders & payments will no longer be collected in the office.

There will be  Final Due Dates leading up to each month, so please pay attention to those, normally about a week - 10 day's prior to the next month, with some exceptions. Late orders will not be an option.

At today's posting of the newsletter, the on-line ordering system was not ready. Parents will be sent a separate email regarding the new Hot Lunch program and ordering instructions within the next few days.
St. Rose Parent - Student Handbook has been updated as of 8/1/18

ALL parents (families) are expected to review the handbook in it's entirety so that you are current and knowledgeable on school procedures and policy.

NEW families to St. Rose will receive a hard copy of the handbook in the first Wednesday envelope of the school year. This is the one and only time that we send home a paper copy of the handbook to families.  The handbook will always be available to review by clicking on the link at the bottom of this weekly newsletter OR  on our school website: www.strosecatholicschool.org

School administration may change, update or revise school policy at anytime. Parents will be notified of any changes when or as they occur.
2018-19 Back to School      CLASS STUDENT SUPPLY LISTS

Please ONLY purchase the supplies the teachers have listed.

A Note from Mrs. Ryan
Dear Parents,

Our campus has been a hub of construction activity all summer. Our general contractor, GMH, and their subcontractors continue to surmount all obstacles in order to bring these projects to completion in record time. Here is an update on the progress:
  • The rebuild of the Kindergarten and Second Grade classrooms will be complete and ready for Mrs. Haley and Mrs. Szczech to move into by next week.
  • The installation of the new HVAC system that includes air conditioning for the entire main building has been a huge undertaking. The two sub-contractors for this project are both school parents. Shawn Roy of Roy Mechanical is installing the system and McDonell Electric is providing the electrical work. The project is slated to be finished by the opening of school.
  • The paved covered eating area with solar power (also McDonell Electric) should be completed by early September.
  • The completion of our beautiful preschool building is projected for mid-October.
  • The renovation of the black-top will take place once the temporary preschool modular has been removed.
I thank you in advance for your continued patience as we look forward to the day when our campus is fully restored, pristine, and better than ever.

I am pleased to announce that St. Rose will be partnering with Epicurean Group for our hot lunch program this year. Epicurean is the same organization that has been providing food service to Cardinal Newman High School. They will be offering a kid-friendly, organic, hot meal to our students each day, with fresh house-made pizza every Wednesday. In addition, the ordering process is now online.

I look forward to reconnecting with you in the weeks to come.
