Please join us for our first DHSPA meeting of the 2018-19 school year on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 to hear what's new at DHS and other helpful information. Please come for coffee at 8:45 am, and our meeting will begin at 9:00 am in the auditorium.

Our success as a PTO hinges on the participation, support and involvement of our parents. Throughout the year, there will be opportunities to volunteer your time, talents and energy, and we hope you will get involved.

BROADEN YOUR HORIZONS:  HOST A STUDENT FROM QINGDAO, CHINA
This September, DHS will again be hosting a delegation of students and teachers from Qingdao as part of the China Exchange program.   They will be with us Friday, September 28 - Tuesday, October 9.

We are looking for Darien families to host the delegation while they are in town.  It is an amazing experience to get to know the guests from China as well as an opportunity for your students to learn more about our amazing exchange program.

While in Darien, the students will attend classes at DHS during the day.  Afternoon and weekend activities will be coordinated by the DHS students in the China Exchange program.  Your family would be welcome to attend any events but would not be required to do so.

If you are interested in learning more about hosting, please contact Shelly Skoglund   at   shelskogs@gmail.com  or 203 524 2058.
