INDOOR ACTIVITIES GUIDELINES
Indoor match activities are discouraged. If a match chooses to do an indoor activity: masks must be worn, social distancing guidelines must be followed, and outings should be limited to no more than 1-2 hours. A signed waiver from both the Big and Parent/Guardian MUST be received by your Match Support Specialist BEFORE making any in-person plans.
SEED STARTING
There's something magical about watching seeds grow into big plants that you can enjoy as a cut flower or veggie. Check dollar stores for seeds. Place your pots in a sunny window or try winter sowing by recycling milk jugs to use as little greenhouses outside.
MAKE A LEPRECHAUN TRAP
There's no right or wrong way to catch a leprechaun! Grab some craft supplies and put your heads together to design a creative trap. Click through to see some ideas of elements to incorporate and examples to get those wheels turning!
CAPE MAY ZOO EASTER EVENTS
They're planning lots of Easter fun at the Cape May Zoo! Enjoy a HOPstacle course, an I Spy Easter Egg contest, and a scavenger hunt inside the zoo. Plus you'll get to see all of the animals during your visit, too!
SHAMROCK SHAKES AT HOME
What better way to celebrate the luck o' the Irish than making homemade shamrock shakes! This simple recipe is easy to make over a video call and doesn't require a long list of complicated ingredients. Easy peasy!
VIRTUAL BIRD WATCHING
The official start to spring is just around the corner, so pretty soon you'll be hearing lots of birds chirping outside your window. Check out these Bird Cams from Cornell University to give you a front row seat to watching birds in their natural habitats across the US and even in Bermuda and Panama!

Suffering from pandemic burnout? Are stress and anxiety overwhelming you? Join this free virtual 30-minute meditation class this Saturday, March 20 that can be done anywhere you feel comfortable. No yoga or meditation experience required. 
ATLANTIC CITY VACCINE MEGASITE
For anyone who currently qualifies for a Covid vaccine, the AtlantiCare megasite at the Atlantic City Convention Center is the largest vaccine site in our area. To schedule an appointment, log onto the website below and note the days and times each week that the website will open up for appointment scheduling. Be sure to log onto the website a few minutes before it opens to secure your place in line.
FREE TAX PREPARATION
Tax season is here! Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) provides tax preparation, financial counseling, and benefits access to low-to-moderate income individuals and their families. This year, services have expanded to include fully virtual preparation with an IRS certified tax preparer.
FREE TRANSPORTATION SERVICES
Beginning April 1, Fare Free will be offering a new, more effective way to book transportation services for Cape May County residents who qualify. Fare Free users can utilize the Uber app moving forward to request rides when they need them, rather than the previous method of requesting transportation with a 3-day advanced notice. Atlantic County has similar transportation services for qualifying residents, but is not utilizing Uber at this time.
