Tu Lan's Owner Anthony Nguyen Passes Away

Sadly the owner of Tu Lan, Anthony Nguyen, has passed away. He was 36. The outpouring of grief and remembrance of Nguyen from those who knew him brought attention to his kindness, generosity, and his presence as a strong pillar of the community.

Gianluca Legrottaglie, of the neighboring restaurant Montesacro, told Eater SF: "Anthony was one of the sweetest guys on the block. Always smiling and always ready to help. When I first opened, he'd show up out of the blue with trays of his amazing food from TĂș Lan, sit at a table and enjoy a pinsa... I hope his legacy will continue in the years to come and we hope that his mother, who's now running the business, will have the support she needs." READ MORE
