Caring Compassionate Congregation
Do you call your pew-mate when they don’t show up for worship? Do you send your church siblings birthday cards? Did you know that just by being kind to one another you are participating in pastoral care ? Mother Kim is working on reorganizing our pastoral care teams so that we can respond to our community needs quickly and appropriately. She knows there are many of you who are doing these kinds of things and helping one another in joy and sorrow. If you got an email from Mother Kim about pastoral care this week it’s because your name is affiliated with one or more ministry at GHTC which is doing pastoral care. If you are part of a caring ministry and didn’t get an email from her, reach out to be added to that list. Keep your eyes and heart open for opportunities to be the caring compassionate congregation we are called to be in 2020 and beyond.
