Our Piccabeen Bookshop is well stocked to tempt all readers with books that are just right for humid days, restless nights or flooding rains that keep you housebound.
The funds generated by this shop are crucial in supporting our work financially. Our volunteer staff are very friendly: do drop in to say hello and buy a book or two.

Membership Fees Due March 1st
Annual membership fees ($10 per individual; $15 per family) are due on 1st March. Your contribution is vitally important in supporting the good regeneration work we do on the mountain. Please renew your membership promptly, and make the work of Maureen Booth, our Membership Secretary, so much easier!

Please note that given the increase in postage rates, receipts for posted fees will now be held at the bookshop, for collection at your convenience. This system will enable us to devote our membership fees towards our regeneration activities.

Changing your contact details
If you have any changes to your contact details (particularly postal or email address), please let us know by filling in a Change Details form. This form is available online via our Landcare web page (http://www.tamborinemtnlandcare.org.au). From the home page, choose Forms and Documents from the menu on the left, and click on the Membership Member Change Details form under the heading Administration. Print out and fill in the form, leaving it at the bookshop, posting it to the Membership Secretary or emailing it to [email protected]

A Message from our President
2020 and still going strong!
From a small group of dedicated people, back in 2003, we have evolved into a strong, vital environmental organisation caring for the forests of Tamborine Mountain. With your help, we look forward to another year of restoration work, along with community education and participation.
Your membership fees at work
TM Landcare has achieved remarkable results over the past 17 years:
- Fifteen council reserves and parks are well on their way to sustainable management after eradication of weeds and replanting with local native plants. (Check our website for the site locations; most have good tracks and can be accessed easily.)
- Our Landcare Centre on Hartley Rd showcases many trees and shrubs we have planted for the community to enjoy.
- We are partnering with local schools and community organisations to deliver environmental education and outdoor activities.
- Our work is carried out by volunteers and contractors, funded principally by our Piccabeen Bookshop, run entirely by volunteers, supplemented by financial support from Scenic Rim Regional Council, state and federal governments.
Your continued support means that we have a demonstrably strong community organisation that enables us to access larger grants. These are needed for the expansion of our work and also for the maintenance of our sites, most of which still need ongoing weed eradication.
So, please renew your membership. Like all our members, you are important, whether you can share in our working bees, volunteer in the bookshop, or simply, as a member, show that you value our commitment to the natural environment of Tamborine Mountain.
