Plastic Bag Ban Bill Fails in Massachusetts

Plastic pollution problem - Sea Turtle eating plastic bag polluting ocean

State lawmakers failed to approve a statewide ban on single use plastic bags last week. House and Senate negotiators dropped the proposal Friday.  This means it's more important than ever to take action in local communities. More than 80 cities and towns in Massachusetts have already banned the bag, find out here if your community has a plastic bag ban and if not, consider proposing one!

Summer Concert on the Boston Esplanade 
Wed. 8/15 7pm

Hear the Landmarks Orchestra with Conductor Christopher Wilkins in a program that interprets the sound of a nimal song and sea life in collaboration with the New England Aquarium.
