ICYMI: Insight Affirms Commitment to Phoenix Area with New, Expanded Headquarters
Insight Enterprises (NASDAQ: NSIT), the global provider of Insight Intelligent Technology Solutions™ for organizations of all sizes, announced it will centralize its offices to a single first-class creative office space in Chandler, one of the most desirable submarkets for technology businesses in the Phoenix Metropolitan Area.

The expansion of its headquarters signifies Insight’s worldwide growth since the company’s establishment in 1988. The move to the 48-acre, 295,000-square-foot site located at 2701 E. Ryan Road nearly doubles the size of Insight’s home footprint on the heels of the company’s recent  acquisition of PCM , its largest acquisition yet.

ICYMI: Allred, Willmeng Launch Northrop Grumman's New Chandler Campus
A ribbon cutting ceremony was held on Nov. 12 to launch the opening of a 633,000-square-foot build-to-suit campus for Northrop Grumman , which will serve as the home for their launch vehicles business. This office and manufacturing facility which supports national defense and aerospace, was developed by the Douglas Allred Company, San Diego, Calif., within their 180-acre Park Place Business Park in Chandler, Ariz.

“We have a rich heritage here in Arizona that spans more than three decades, and our business here continues to grow rapidly,” said Blake Larson, President, Innovation Systems, Northrop Grumman. “This beautiful new facility will provide an improved work environment for our employees, provide a clean slate to work from to improve our efficiencies, and give us more room for growth. I extend my gratitude to this incredible team who came together for mission success.”

Look for New Public Art on Your Next Drive in Uptown Chandler
A new public art project is underway in Uptown Chandler . Look for unique, Chandler-inspired artwork on traffic signal cabinets along Arizona Avenue and Alma School Road, north of Ray Road. The designs were created by Arizona-based artists, selected through a Call for Artists process that attracted more than 40 submissions. This project is part of the City's broader Uptown Chandler initiative, which seeks to raise awareness of this vibrant part of our community to champion positive growth and continued economic vitality.
ICYMI: MTD Products Signs 10-Year Lease at Chandler Corporate Industrial Center
MTD Products , an Ohio-based manufacturer of outdoor power equipment, has leased approximately 50,000 square feet of space at Chandler Corporate Industrial Center at 370 N. Juniper Drive, near the northwest corner of McClintock Drive and Chandler Boulevard.

The family-owned company signed a 10-year lease for space in the 100,018-square-foot new building. MTD plans to take occupancy of their space by the end of the year and will add about 120 employees including 70 engineers.

"We are excited to have MTD join our growing community here in Chandler," said Chandler Mayor Kevin Hartke. "This leading national company will provide high quality jobs and joins many other outstanding corporations who have selected Chandler as ideal for their business."

Things to Know About the Airpark Area
  • Growing faster than any other employment corridor, up 1,850 jobs year-over-year per MAG's 2018 Employer Database. Current estimate of 9,400 total jobs.
  • Businesses driving recent job growth include Liberty Mutual, Zovio, Cascade Financial Services, Offerpad and Stanley Black & Decker.
  • Insight Enterprises, a Fortune 500 tech company, has announced that they will relocate their corporate headquarters to the Airpark Area.
  • Chandler Municipal Airport is one of the busiest general aviation airports in the U.S. and a key asset within the Airpark Area. An airport master plan has been initiated to provide guidance for existing and future development.
  • Chandler-Gilbert Community College educates nearly 20,000 students across four locations. CGCC's Pecos Campus is one of the area's anchor institutions.
  • The Airpark Area offers large, undeveloped tracts of land designated for employment uses. As the City approaches build out, preservation of this land for future employment will be critical to sustaining economic growth.
