Dear Neighbor:
In an effort to help Cherry Hill senior citizens aged 65 and above receive the COVID vaccine, Cherry Hill Township is working with the Camden County Department of Health to help reschedule senior vaccination appointments to an earlier date. While we cannot guarantee an earlier appointment, should additional vaccines and appointments become available, Cherry Hill Township in coordination with Camden County will work to move up vaccination appointments. Please note you must first sign up for an vaccination appointment through the Camden County vaccination website before you can reschedule, and only appointments in April or later are being accepted.
For Cherry Hill Senior Citizen Residents who wish to reschedule their appointment for an earlier date, please follow the directions below:

-
Seniors can also email Vaccine@Chtownship.com to be included
Feel free to leave a voicemail with the necessary information and we will return your call to confirm. Please either call or email, please do not do both.
Please have the following information ready:
- First and Last Name
- Phone Number
- Home Address
- Date of Birth
- Current Appointment Date
Once your information is received by Camden County, a Cherry Hill Township employee will reach out with your new appointment date.
I would also like to recognize the Lunar New Year! This year is the year of the ox which signifies a year of challenges that can be navigated by strengthening relationships with friends and family by cultivating appreciation and meaning. So those who celebrate, I wish you a very Happy New Year!
Please continue to stay safe.

Recycling Tip: If your recycling container smells, it’s contaminated.
It’s a simple fact of life that garbage cans smell bad. And if you think about it, how could they not? With all of the food, liquid, yard waste and diapers that get thrown away every day, your nose is bound to take notice. Recycling containers, however, are a different story. Since none of those items should ever be placed in your recycling container, and everything that is placed in it should be empty, clean and dry, there should never be an odor emanating from your container.
If your container smells bad, it’s contaminated. The best thing to do is remove all of the recyclables, wash it out, and let it dry completely before adding back empty, clean and dry items that are approved for curbside recycling: paper, cardboard, metal cans and plastic bottles and jugs.
