Make a new friend! Everyone is welcome to join The Glades Initiative, partners and friends to its annual Holiday Potluck and Gift Exchange! Bring a food dish and join us as we celebrate the holidays in good company. Following the potluck, we will have a gift exchange. VITA Volunteer Opportunity - Tax Preparation
Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) is a national program staffed by local volunteers to provide free tax preparation and e-filing of returns to qualified taxpayers. The VITA Program is an invaluable service United Way of Palm Beach County has been providing to the community for the last sixteen years. It targets individuals and families with low-to-moderate incomes who are eligible for tax credits. Volunteers are the key to the VITA Program's success. No experience is required and there are opportunities that don't involve preparing taxes.
