Almost any self-employed person or owner of a pass-through business (such as an S corporation, limited liability company, or partnership) with eligible income - which the National Association of REALTORS® made sure includes commissions from real estate sales - can take 20 percent off the top after business expenses are taken out.

Share your Story
|
The housing inventory crisis in Washington has severely impacted affordable ownership opportunities across the state.
In many cases we need the federal government and our own local officials to help solve this crisis, but the state's legislature must play a role as well.
To help do that, we need to educate our elected officials about how the lack of affordable housing impacts the residents of our state.
Stories from constituents like you will be a powerful tool to help us motivate state legislators to focus on this critical issue that impacts homeowners and renters.
Please take a few minutes to today to share the story. What obstacles did you face? What was the outcome?

Hacking Washington
|
The City of Spokane has launched a new website -
Hacking Washington - aimed directly at Seattle residents who can't take it any more.
"In Spokane, affordable housing, short commutes, and a strong job market welcome you.
It's a city surrounded by nature and bathed in sunshine and possibility.
And it's only a 45-minute flight from Sea-Tac airport, so you can enjoy the best things about Seattle - from live sports to popular shows - and fly home in less time than it takes some commuters to drive home in Seattle.
That's #HackingWashington."
