The year 2019 has been a very interesting year for all, globally, in so many divergent ways. Pandemics, climate change and other major global phenomenon are leading concerns that continue unabated. From the Global One Health paradigm comes opportunities for convergent solutions at the interface of humans, animals and the environment. This year marked significant progress in our vibrant partnerships, training, research, science implementation, outreach and capacity building engagements. Our momentum is greater than ever, but the complexity of global issues we need to tackle remains a steep mountain to climb. We call upon all stakeholders to continue stressing the vital importance of mutually-beneficial, high impact capacity building that the world needs today. Thank you for your partnership in 2019. We wish you all happy holidays, and may 2020 bring more opportunities to make greater global impact! |
