ISBE School District Financial Profile
Lake Park earns impressive 4.0, the highest possible ranking, three years in a row.
The Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) has developed the "School District Financial Profile" to help monitor the finances of school districts and identify which are in or are moving toward financial difficulty. This indicator was developed with the assistance of superintendents, school business officials, financial advisers, lawyers, and bond brokers. The financial profile identifies four indicators that identify the strength or weakness of a district:
Fund Balance to Revenue Ratio, Expenditure to Revenue Ratio, Days Cash on Hand, and Percent of Short-Term Borrowing Ability Remaining. For Fiscal Year 2019, Lake Park scored a 4.0 in all the identified indicators.
2019 - 4.00 Recognition
2018 - 4.00 Recognition
2017 - 4.00 Recognition
2016 - 3.90 Recognition
2015 - 3.90 Recognition
This five-year historical snapshot represents a testament to the the Board of Education's vision, the unwavering expectation for maintaining a balanced budget, and the hard work of the administrative team in collaboration with the Lake Park Education Association.
