Centennial Book to Feature Camp Friedlander Stories Have you ever wondered what it was like to camp at Camp Friedlander in its early days? Or were you one of the Scouts who actually got to experience it? The Dan Beard Council Camp Staff Alumni Association is collecting stories from current and past campers at Camp Friedlander, and is publishing a history that will honor the 100 years of camping and Scouting heritage at Camp Friedlander. We have collected countless personal stories and interviewed campers from a number of years. If you have a personal experience at Camp Friedlander, we would love to hear from you. Dan Beard Council Eagle Scout Association Awards Dinner Save the Date! Friday, September 21st Scout Achievement Center All Eagle Scouts in the area and their spouses are invited to this recognition dinner. The evening program will provide an update from the ESA, a chance to reconnect with local Eagles, and feature the presentation of the new Scout Master Award and three Outstanding Eagle Awards winners. Light appetizers starting at 6:30pm and dinner served at 7:00pm. Cost will be $25 per person. Cincinnati Reds Overnight On Saturday, September 29th , the Dan Beard Council and the Cincinnati Reds are excited to welcome Scouts, their friends, and their families to the 2018 Scout Night Campout!  The on-field campout will occur after the Reds play the Pittsburgh Pirates, with the game starting at 4:10PM .
