JEFFERSON ELEMENTARY 2021 JOG-A-THON

5TH GRADE LOGO ART CONTEST
Calling all 5th graders!!!

The Jog-A-Thon is coming up in April and we are holding a contest for the 2021 Logo. This contest is for 5th graders only and the winning Logo will be displayed on the Jog-A-Thon website. We aren’t printing t-shirts for everyone this year, but we will print some for the winner to keep as a souvenir. CLICK HERE for form and instructions. You can print the form out or use your own blank white piece of paper. 

Please submit your Logo entry electronically by scanning or taking a photo and emailing to stacyeder9@gmail.com.

Submissions are due by Friday, March 26th.

Rules:
1) Include the words “Jefferson Elementary” and “2021 Jog-A-Thon” in art. 
2) Must be hand-drawn with black marker only (no colors), fit on this page and be clear and legible.
3) Write your name and teacher’s name on this page or in your email.
4) Multiple entries may be submitted, each entry on a separate form.
PTA HONORARY SERVICE AWARD NOMINATION REQUEST


Please help nominate Jefferson Elementary candidates for the PTA Honorary Service Award (HSA)!
The purpose of the HSA is to recognize an individual for outstanding service to children and youth in our community, going above and beyond what is asked of them. This person has given continuously of their volunteer time to benefit our children. The HSA recipient will be selected by a nominating committee and forwarded to Redondo Beach PTA Council for approval. The award will be given at a Redondo Beach Council Awards Night ceremony in May.

Our Yearbook Team is collecting the photos to capture the unique memories of the 2020-2021 school year and we’d like to include your best photos! The photos we are looking for are:
  • Students at work during the distance learning
  • The celebrations and events during the 2020-2021 school year: Christmas, Halloween, Battle of the Books and any class events!

If you have some amazing photos you’d like included, follow these steps:

3.    Click the “Upload Photos” option and select your class from the list.

Please keep love note under 140 characters including punctuation. Please proof read as entries will be submitted as you typed it.

After you submit your Love Note please complete the payment of $3.00 or your entry will not be included in the yearbook.

When we started this year's PTA Membership campaign in August 2020 our overall goal was set at 817 members. We are so grateful for all families, teachers, staff, and businesses who have signed up to become PTA members!!

We are currently at 779 members, that is 95% of the goal.


With school reopening for in-person education, we need your help now!

If you are not yet a PTA Member or if you wish to purchase an extra membership for a grandparent or another family member, please SIGN UP TODAY TODAY.

One membership costs only $15 and is 100% tax deductible (TAX ID 95-6204301). Becoming a PTA Member DOES NOT mean that you sign up for volunteering.
