While the library remains closed, we continue to provide front table service by calling 732-747-9649 or by using our online catalog found at littlesilverlibrary.org. See below for details.

Holiday Closing
We will be closed on Friday and Saturday, April 2nd and 3rd, in observation of Good Friday and Easter.
Curbside Pickup Details
  • Hours are Monday through Saturday 10 am – 1 pm
  • Patrons may call the library at 732-747-9649 to place holds for items or by using our online catalog
  • Holds are available for items owned by the Little Silver Library and the Monmouth County Library.
  • Patrons will receive a call when their item is available and will be held up to three days. 
  • Items available for pick up will be on the table in the library entrance.
  • All items must be returned in the bookdrop and shall be quarantined for 3 days for everyone’s safety.

New Tutoring Resource!
We have some great news for anyone who needs tutoring help! The Monmouth County Library is offering access to Brainfuse, an online tutoring platform! Simply click here to check it out! All you need is your library card!

Live online tutoring is available every day from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM EST.
Children's Special Events
Celebrate DIA this Month! 
Diversity in Action…with Peacock Surprise!
Grades K and up
Saturday, April 17 from 10:00 - 11:00 am

Enjoy a unique, interactive workshop presented by Seema Moondra of Enjoy Explore India. Discover the art and culture of India through storytelling and design your own piece of peacock artwork! Please have crayons, markers, pencil, and paper ready at home to complete the project.

Join us on Zoom for this fun-filled event! Advance registration required beginning April 3. The Zoom link will be emailed to registered participants the day before the event. Visit the Kids section of the Monmouth County Library to register!

Decluttering with Jamie Novak!
You may have seen Jamie on morning TV or read her newest book, “Keep This Toss That”. If you need a decluttering jumpstart, with a humorist twist, you won't want to miss this virtual program!

Non-Fiction/History Book Club
The Non-Fiction/History Book Club will meet on Monday, May 17th at 7:00 pm via Zoom. They will be discussing Part II of "The Age of Surveillance Capitalism" by Shoshana Zubroff. Contact the library at 732-747-9649 to borrow a copy of the book!

As always, we have lots of fun storytime activities for the kids from Ms. Danya, Ms. Robin and the Monmouth County Library. You can find them here!
Take 'N Make Crafts!

We've created "Take 'N Make Craft" kits for our littlest patrons to enjoy! They are available on the curbside pickup table in the library vestibule! Available while supplies last!
Book Drop
Our book drop is open if you want to return your books! Please only drop off library books. We cannot accept book donations at this time!

Our WiFi patio is always available for your use!
