Planning Commission meeting on Nov 14 & Dec 12

The El Dorado County Planning Commission will review the Central El Dorado Hills Specific Plan (CEDHSP) at two upcoming hearings, both in Placerville. If you are one of the 91% of residents that voted on this please try and join at least one of the two scheduled hearings:
  1. November 14 at 8:30am
  2. December 12 at 8:30am
Village Life recently reported that District 2 Supervisor, Shiva Frentzen recently asked the Planning Commission to hold a special hearing after work hours, or at least one of the scheduled hearings in El Dorado Hills to make it easier for affected residents to attend. EDHCSD checked their website on 11/1/2019 and the dates, times and locations remain the same.

EDHCSD has created a webpage that includes information related to the El Dorado Hills voters' and property owners' support and priorities for preservation and/or acquisition of the "Former Executive Golf Course."
EDHCSD Took Over Maintenance at Village Green Park
October 2019

Before the Tree Maintenance
After the Tree Maintenance
Village Green Park is located at the corner of Serrano Parkway and Silva Valley Parkway, and after taking over maintenance of the park EDHCSD immediately began park improvements.

Local contractor, Tailored Tree, Inc. marked several; 41 to be exact, dead cottonwood trees above the walkway as the trees were seen as injury hazards. They also cleaned up some previously unmaintained areas near the playground and bridge. The creek remained clean and untouched, and this area is now a beautiful backdrop for fall photos.

Feeling extra thankful for our Stephen Harris Park tennis court volunteers after they spent a few hours reattaching all the windscreens around the courts late last month. The guys pictured above have been meeting for years to not only play tennis, but to help our Parks staff maintain the courts, and to keep an eye out for vandalism, etc. This photo shows only some of the members. As you can see, they like to have fun!

Many thanks to EDHCSD Parks Department for helping to coordinate the work day!
