THANK YOU TUSTIN
Every child deserves clean, new pajamas, especially when our nights turn cold here in Tustin. Too many children in our community don't have the luxury of owning pajamas ... when it's time to go to bed they don't have anything to change in to and end up wearing their school clothes, old t-shirts or just their underwear.
New PJs are a luxury that many Tustin area families cannot afford. Thank you to everyone who donated pajamas this year. You helped us bring smiles to at least 913 children and seniors throughout our community this holiday season! There will be a lot of smiles at bedtime in Tustin this year.
The pajamas will be passed on to Tustin Police Department's Santa Cop program and Families Together OC for families living in Tustin with limited means; all of the teen residents of Laurel House and the soon-to-be new Boys Home at the OC Rescue Mission; every Little Brother and Little Sister in the Tustin (including those "Bigs & Littles" participating in the High Schools Bigs program in the TUSD) through Big Brother/Big Sister; Tustin Area Senior Center for Tustin area seniors in need; the Tustin Family & Youth Center's Holiday Basket program and Waymakers Tustin Youth Shelter.
THANK YOU Enderle Center for letting us collect pajamas. Thank you to the Tustin Area Woman's Club for organizing a PJ collection for us this past summer and thank you to members of the National League of Young Men, Tustin Dollars for Scholars and the Tustin High School Dance Teams for collecting them. A huge thank you to many schools in the Tustin Unified School District for collecting them from your families, staff and students. You are all so very much appreciated!.
