CHAIRMAN'S MESSAGE: MAKE TLARGI GREAT AGAIN 2020!
|
Just kidding, but I got your attention! TLARGI is already great, but we can all make it even better by giving suggestions, coming to events, participating on committees and joining the board of directors. With your help, we can continue to give all TLARGIans the best in technology, networking, education/scholarships and fun. We are the premiere rubber group on the west coast, and we intend to keep it that way!
Speaking of fun, if you couldn't attend last year's Christmas party, then you really missed out! We all celebrated at the Hilton in Costa Mesa with good food, great drinks, excellent friends and a fantastic band, Vanity Fair. The Christmas party Committee did a wonderful job in preparing and decorating the event, not to mention we had so much fun doing it! This committee is one of my favorites. Thanks to Cindy LeClair for co-chairing with me, as well as the decorating team that put together unbelievably great ambiance (all done with a very conservative budget). A huge thanks goes to Donna Klatt, Gloria Villareal, Denise Gastelon and Traci Prog, very well done! Lupe Perez and Ryan Baldwin were in the "Hot Seat" at the reception table and did a great job receiving everyone. A few other notable mentions: Geraldine Perez, who graciously re-did the seating chart on short notice when I moved from rounds of 10 to rounds of 8; and, of course, Tom Martin Jr. as the emcee - always a blast with Tom. Darren and Julie took care of the Sparks of Love drive and Beth did a great job with photos again. Thank you to all the guests who came out dressed spectacularly! Everyone looked fabulous. It was amazing.

I am so excited and honored to be the chairman of TLARGI for 2020. It is with much gratitude that I serve all of you in the hopes of making this the best year yet! Thank you to all past chairmen, the shoulders upon which I nowstand. It is the hard work of all the board members and committees that make TLARGI possible and I cannot thank everyone enough for their participation. Here's to many more years of building friendships, learning together and bringing in the youth to our industry through scholarships, internships and fun.

Save the date! The 2020 TLARGI Christmas Party will be
Saturday, December 5th. We'll be returning to the Hilton Orange County Costa Mesa. Returning for the entertainment will Vanity Fair. Last year's committee did a great job with the planning, decorating and presentation of the Christmas Party. With a new year comes a whole new committee, new theme, new ideas and a new party to look forward to. More of those details will be made available in future newsletters. Stay tuned!
