Dear Christ Our King and Savior Family,

The beautiful celebrations of All Saints and All Souls are upon us! Here is a friendly reminder (and correction) about how we will celebrate these great liturgical feasts!

ALL SAINTS
November 1, the Solemnity of all Saints, is a Holy Day of Obligation, because "it is right and just" to celebrate all the Holy Ones in Heaven! The saints intercede for us and show us how to get where they are. We will have 3 Masses to give you every opportunity to participate!

1:  Vigil Mass on Wednesday, October 31, at 6:30PM . This Mass will be bilingual, with helpful slides to keep everyone aware of what is being sung or prayed or spoken. Trunk-or-Treat follows immediately after, and yours truly has a plan that will be the envy of Greensboro!

2.   Morning Mass on Thursday, November 1, at 9:00AM . This Mass will be in English.

3.   Evening Mass on Thursday, November 1, at 7:00PM . This Mass will be in English. I previously sated it was bilingual, but I misspoke. Please forgive me!

ALL SOULS
November 2 is a day to pray for all the faithful departed who are not yet in Heaven. We believe in the mercy of God purifying souls after death (Purgatory) so that they may enter into eternal glory with the Lord and the angels and saints. This day is NOT a Holy Day of Obligation, but I highly encourage you to participate, bringing your prayers for your loved ones who have died to Mass. We will have 2 Masses:

1. 9:00AM Morning Mass. This Mass will be in English.

2. 7:00PM Evening Candlelight Mass. This Mass will be bilingual, and we will have pictures of your loved ones on display in the sanctuary area to call them to mind as we pray! Instructions on bringing in pictures were sent out in a special flock-note from me.

I look forward to celebrating these days ahead with you! See you at Mass!

Peace in Christ,
Fr. Michael

June 30th 2018 Parish Annual Report

To view the financials of the Parish and check out our accomplishments for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2018, please view the report below.
Your copy should address 3 key questions: Who am I writing for? (Audience) Why should they care? (Benefit) What do I want them to do here? (Call-to-Action)

Create a great offer by adding words like "free" "personalized" "complimentary" or "customized." A sense of urgency often helps readers take an action, so think about inserting phrases like "for a limited time only" or "only 7 remaining!"
Following all Masses on November 3 rd and 4 th , our parish is hosting an exhibit by over 40 ministries.

All parishioners are encouraged to attend!

·      Meet with representatives from various ministries.
·      Learn how the different ministries serve our parish.
·      Discern how you can participate.

Food and beverages will be served!

·         Those who would like to sponsor an adult seeking to become Catholic.
