A heartfelt thank you from the Chamber to those of you who have continued to show your support of the Escondido Chamber of Commerce. We are honored that through these challenging times, many of you have continued to support our endeavors with your continued membership renewal and those of you who have decided that now is the time to join.
Yes, we‘re adding new members who see the value of what we do worth their support.
And what does that mean? Would anyone miss the Chamber if we were gone tomorrow is the question poised by our Board Chair?
The Escondido Chamber of Commerce has been an integral part of the Escondido business landscape for almost 110 years. We’ve endured through pandemics, recessions, natural disasters, and political changes in Escondido.
Our mission or purpose is to foster a business community in Escondido where every business, whether they’re small or large, have the highest probability to succeed. We do this by recognizing the challenges businesses face, address problems faced and create opportunities for those challenges and problems to be met.
We are a membership organization of businesses and individuals who collectively raise their voice through their Chamber membership.
We bring awareness to issues and work together to find solutions to those issues. Whether that be cutting through the clutter to get a resolution to an issue or advocating for policy changes to our elected bodies representing Escondido at the highest levels. We highlight the resources available to our members to solve problems, and address everyday issues by bringing them to light and look for finding solutions.
But, most impactfully, we are a group of like-minded people who support each other and use the Chamber as the conduit to be heard. If you’re not a member, please consider joining, and if you are a member thank you for entrusting us with your support.
Call or email me directly to help answer any questions or provide you with more ways your Chamber membership works. Yes we will get through this current business environment, it will leave a permanent change to our business community but, we are strengthened by meeting this latest challenge.
And, I do believe that we would be missed if we were gone tomorrow. No one else is doing the work for our business community like the Chamber. Our goal is to create such value each and every day to say this with confidence.
We need each other.
