SPREAD SOME HOLIDAY SPIRIT WITH A HANDMADE CARD
Edmonton Meals on Wheels (11111 103 Avenue)

If you have an abundance of Christmas spirit, brighten someone's day with a handmade card. Seventy-seven per cent of Edmonton Meals on Wheels' clients live alone, and many of them deal with social isolation. Making a handmade holiday card is a great way to show folks you're thinking about them. Cards can be donated during regular office hours (Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m.), or slipped through the mail slot on the northeast side of the Edmonton Meals on Wheels office. Attention caregivers and adults aged 65+! Lend your expertise to an accessibility study, which seeks to understand the main barriers to accessibility encountered by Canadians, how these barriers affect quality of life, and if these barriers are being addressed by existing Canadian legislation. Participants can complete the survey online, by telephone, or by mail. Paper forms are available in both 12 pt. and 16 pt. font for improved accessibility.
