FALL FESTIVAL
OCTOBER 27
The Children's Ministry invites you to our Fall Festival this Saturday, Oct 27, from 10am-2pm. This free event is open to all and will have outside games, face painting, ($1) crafts, petting zoo, and a food truck! The pumpkin patch will also be open at the same time. We hope to see you there!

HIS WALK ANNUAL GARAGE SALE
OCTOBER 27
Get ready for the best garage sale around! The sale is Sat Oct 27 8:30am-1pm in Fellowship and Robey Hall. Please bring donations for sale to Fellowship Hall on Fri Oct 26, 9a-5p. All donations welcome, except furniture. All proceeds go directly to the His Walk ministry which helps the homeless with various services including food, clothes, toilettries, transportation and daily Bible studies. We need volunteers to help both Fri and Sat, especially help with heavy lifting. Service hours available for school. Call Sandy Cloutier for information 954-701-4908.

Taravella High School is offering First Church a group discount to participate in their 2nd annual 5K walk/run, benefiting the Athletic Dept., on Dec 8. PUMPKIN PATCH VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

The Pumpkin Patch will be open Oct 17-31. Weekdays from 12PM-8PM, and weekends from 9AM-8PM. We are looking for friendly faces to greet visitors to the patch, and accept payment for pumpkins. Every Child Matters was formed to help children who truly need help; to make a difference for God's kingdom; and to help children get on the right path. We are currently looking for a volunteer to help apply for grants for our organization, and to walk through the multitude of paperwork and information required. CHRISTMAS CHILD SHOEBOX

Please be sure to pick up your Operation Christmas Child Shoebox out on the plaza this Sunday! Fill your box with lots of goodies for either a boy or girl and bring it back to church by 11/11. These boxes will be shipped all over the world to children in need. See us on the plaza for more details!

In most cases, we are only asking for a once or twice per month commitment. FOOD SHARE
First & Third Fridays Every Month
Doors Open 4:30pm
Distribution 5pm-6:30pm
 
For the month of November, we are requesting pasta , pasta sauce, 1lb pound bag rice, and black beans Also for November, we're collecting Thanksgiving items like stuffing, cranberry sauce, grave etc. We continue to collect clean egg cartons. 
Bring your contributions on Sunday and put them in the designated cart.

Volunteers are needed to greet visitors, hand out Bible verses, and/or chaperone the children's table at Food Share (1st & 3rd Fridays of the month at 4:15-6:30pm). You are also welcome to volunteer from 12:30-3pm in Fellowship Hall to help pack the bags. Contact Suzanne Rodriguez, (954) 815-4719 .
