Last week we had the pleasure of talking withRick LaBerge, COO of HARIBO of America, to discuss his keynote presentation in advance of our Fifth Annual Meeting on November 7 - just ten business days out.
In March 2017, HARIBO announced its plans to build their first North American manufacturing facility in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. Their iconic gummies
will be made in the U.S.A in what will be one of
the largest, most sophisticated facilities in the confectionery industry and is expected to create
400 new jobs.
Rick will share what it takes to create such a facility and how they selected Pleasant Prairie for their first U.S. production plant. Join us and learn all about German-based HARIBO, the world market leader in the fruit gum and licorice segment, with 100 million Gold-Bears alone produced daily worldwide.
