The Redford Township District Library is open for limited browsing and drop-in computer use.

We ask that all people entering the building wear a mask, maintain at least 6 feet of physical distance between other patrons and staff, and limit browsing to 30 minutes or less.
Friends of the Library Book Store

The Friends of the Library mini "self-service" book store has moved to the first floor of the library. Browse through books for all ages! Open during business hours.
Join us each month for a new food truck and some delicious food.
FortuneCooking Food Truck will be parked in the library's parking lot from
12 to 3 pm on Friday, April 9th. FortuneCooking Food Truck is an
award-winning truck that specializes in Asian Fusion cuisine.
Youth Programs
Family Browsing Appointments

The Library is open for limited browsing. However, the youth department is offering family browsing by appointment if this makes you more comfortable. This will ensure a limited capacity and personalized browsing experience for your family. Please call the youth department at (313) 531-5960 ext. 601.
Outdoor Storytime

Join Ms. Emily for an outdoor, socially distanced storytime! Registration required. Ages 3 and up.
Milkweed for Monarchs
Saturday, April 24 from 10:00-11:00 am.

Grow a garden for monarch butterflies! This kit includes milkweed seeds, soil, starting pots, and helpful planting information. Sign up now!
