Jesus Villanueva and Gerard Sanchez
Jesus Villanueva and Gerard Sanchez are the founders and owners of Yoggic Yoga Center at
3110 N Sheffield Avenue, in
Lakeview.
They moved to Chicago last summer from Houston, to make their dream of owning their own business come true. Their passion for yoga, and years of personal practice led them to open a yoga studio.
They both spent many years in Corporate America, until they decided to do "their own thing," and they couldn't be happier, and they haven't looked back!
Gerard is an engineer by trade and loves solving problems! In his spare time he loves gardening, working with wood, practicing yoga and running.
Jesus loves to travel, foreign languages, and practicing yoga - he recently started a daily Ashtanga practice. Jesus is also a runner, having completed 6 marathons!
Come meet these guys at the studio! Stop by for a class, or just to say hi. They'd love to meet you!
Yoggic Yoga Center is a space where everyone is welcome. A place where yoga is made accessible, and not scary. A place where people experience breakthroughs!
Yoggic offers heated and non-heated classes, along with Restorative and Yin yoga. There is something for everyone at this beautiful studio!

Union Full Board is located at 3473 N. Clark in Wrigleyville, just steps away from Wrigley Field, and adjacent to the Wheelhouse Hotel. Headed by Chef/Partner Vince DiBattista the food program showcases the signature Detroit-style Pizza of Evanston's beloved Union Pizzeria along with a wide variety of small plates and entrees with a focus on local and organic producers.
|
Tinker to Evers (3473. N Clark)
is tucked discretely below Union Full Board, where guests will find an elevated alternative to the area's ubiquitous sports pubs and beer bars, with an upscale, speakeasy-style cocktail lounge, playfully named Tinker to Evers after the famous Cubs poem written by Franklin Pierce Adams.

The Wheelhouse Hotel, Union Full Board, & Tinker to Evers Grand Opening
|
We had a blast at the Grand Opening and Ribbon Cutting for the new Wheelhouse Hotel in Wrigleyville. Union Full Board and Tinker to Evers joined us as well - they are located directly in the hotel! There was plenty of delicious Detroit style pizza, tasty craft cocktails, and the best atmosphere and decor. Keep Wheelhouse in mind for future hotel needs! |
Bombay Wraps Grand Opening

As part of
DryHop Brewers' 5th year in business, they've decided to do a refresh! On Friday, October 26th, DryHop will open at 4pm and unveil a newly designed space, brand-new food menu from Executive Chef Will Befort, and two specialty beers (Pineapple-Infused Lager & Triple Dry Hopped Hazy IPA) created by Head Brewer Steve Adams just for the celebration. They also worked with Studio Malt, a local design studio run by longtime brewery friend Jack Muldowney, on a unified refresh for their logos and website. While DryHop is refreshing their space, food menu, and logos/website, their hop-forward beer program and team are staying the same. And don't worry, so is the original burger and fried chicken sandwich!
