Do you know an Early Reader?  

Children who are starting to read on their own have a lot of resources available to them!

Use our JE-R (Early Readers) Collection to find books at your K- to 2nd- grader's reading level.  Books in this collection have a controlled vocabulary, pictures, and large font to encourage readers to succeed.  Find  Elephant & Piggie ,  Frog & Toad , Step Into Reading , and thousands more!

Leveling up?  Leveled Book Lists show what is available in your child's level and beyond. Encourage your child to read what they enjoy by using these lists to find books that will challenge, not frustrate your child.

J-3rd Books are early chapter books that feature some pictures, increased font size, and storylines that appeal to children in 2nd and 3rd grade.  Find books and series like the Owl Diaries, Eerie Elementary, or the Magic Tree House.
