Workers are putting the final touches on the City’s new library at 1500 Sixth Street in Puebla Viejo. The 15,000-square-foot building will more than double the space set aside for library services and add a computer lab, study rooms, conference rooms and workshop areas.

In addition to providing books, this community hub features recreational and educational programs for kids and adults of all ages.

The old library is temporarily closed so staff can pack for the move and ensure the new library is ready to serve.

Mark your calendars and join us for the grand opening celebration on Saturday, October 6, from 9-11 a.m. We hope to see you at the unveiling of this new crown jewel for the City of Coachella.
