In these uncertain times, we at the Chamber and Taking Flight - Amarillo, are trying to get a better understanding of your business's economics, prospects and travel perspectives. Both the airlines and local and federal governments are wanting to understand the tenor of our business community, so as when the "Stay at Home" ban is lifted, they can act quickly in restoring your air service needs at the Rick Husband International Airport.

Nominations for Business Excellence Awards Deadline is July 13th
|

If you know an outstanding individual or business that you would like to nominate for a 2020 Top 20 Under 40 Award, Top Business Award or Top Emerging Business Award, click on the buttons below to fill out the form and submit the nomination to us by July 13, 2020. We will send nominees an official application to be completed and returned to us by July 31st.. Award winners will be selected by the Business Council of the Amarillo Chamber of Commerce and recognized in October 2020.

Small businesses in Amarillo can submit reimbursement requests online to the city for items such as personal protective equipment.

Small Businesses Still Have Opportunity to Win Money
|
|
If you are a Chamber Member business with fewer than 50 employees, be sure you sign up for the chance to win $1,000 for your business and $500 for one of your customers from Amarillo Matters. They have already named 16 business winners, including White Rabbit Antiques, Groovy Pop Gourmet Popcorn, Real Deals - Amarillo, Makie Black, Reserve by HRB Designs, Little Bees Playhouse, Palace Coffee, Snapology of Amarillo, Golden Spread Roofing, Cadence's Canine Creations, The Urban Giraffe, D&D Mattress, Amarillo Grape & Olive, Doche Cleaners, Vaughan's and The Perfect Peach Body Waxing Studio.
To be eligible for prize money, businesses must be locally-owned, have less than 50 employees, and be a member of one of the local chambers of commerce. Businesses can still sign up to participate at
www.amarillomatters.com/shoplocal.
Each Monday, a participating business will be selected at random and awarded $1,000. The following Friday, one of the businesses' customers from the week will be selected at random to receive $500.
Businesses must complete the
online form
to be eligible.
