Testing and Test Prep
 
Free test prep options include Method Test Prep (Northland provides a subscription for all high school students), Khan Academy (SAT only), and ACT Academy (ACT only). Khan Academy allows you to import your PSAT scores for personalized prep.
 
Method Test Prep includes lessons, quizzes, full-length tests and video tutorials. Students may choose to focus on either the ACT or SAT and may also select lessons on their specific areas of weakness.
 
Other online or classroom options include Kaplan , Princeton Review , Test Masters , Testive and Woodlands Test Prep .

Register for the ACT at actstudent.org. Free Test Prep: act.org/academy
Attention: Juniors!!!  National Merit Finalists and Semi-finalists will be determined according to scores achieved on this test date. All students should consistently perform to their highest level on national exams as the experience provides information which can be used to improve scores on future ACT and/or SAT exams taken during the college admissions process. Please do not be anxious. Relax and use your God-given talents to your very best advantage.

Please report to the gym at 7:50 a.m. Testing will begin promptly at 8:00 a.m. Materials required: Two sharpened #2 pencils (mechanical pencils not allowed), eraser, approved calculator, light-weight sweater or jacket.

SCHOLARSHIPS

Boston University Trustee Scholarship Competition
Trustee Scholars rank at the top of their classes and demonstrate exceptional leadership in their schools and communities. Recipients are selected by a faculty committee from a competitive pool of applicants after rigorous review. The Trustee Scholarship covers full undergraduate tuition plus orientation and mandatory undergraduate student fees for four years. Students must submit their application for admission with the two Trustee Scholarship essays by December 1, 2018. More information can be found on our website.
 
2019 PRUDENTIAL SPIRIT OF COMMUNITY AWARDS   
The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards were created in 1995 to recognize students in middle level and high school grades who have made meaningful contributions to their communities through volunteer service. These prestigious awards, sponsored by Prudential Financial in partnership with the National Association of Secondary School Principals (NASSP), are presented annually on the local, state and national level. Students must be legal residents have engaged in a volunteer activity that occurred at least in part after September 1, 2017, complete an application and submit it to the school principal by November 6, 2018.
 
The Pavilion Partners Fine Arts Scholarship Program
The Pavilion Partners is proud to offer first year scholarships ranging from $2,500 to $7,500. Students applying must intend to major in the Fine Arts. Completed applications (including essays, transcripts and letters of recommendation) must be returned to our office by early January. Specific dates will be available later.
