Tuesday, Wednesday 9am - 8pm
Saturday (September 8 - June) 9am - 2pm
Important Reminders

Second Floor Browsing: Library cardholders may reserve time to browse materials on the second floor for 20-minute appointments.

Children's Room Browsing: The Children’s Room is open to one family at a time, for 20-minute appointments with no ability to sit, play, etc.

Appointments can be made online at www.goffstownlibrary.com/calendar or by calling us at 603-497-2102. There is a limited schedule for this service:
  • Monday 9-2
  • Tuesday and Wednesday 5-8 pm
  • Saturday 9-1

You will be required to wear a face covering while in the library building. Disposable masks are available in the lobby, along with hand sanitizer.

Foyer Browsing: Our foyer area is open for browsing and check out of materials during regular hours. You can still place requests remotely, and pick up contact-free.

Parking Lot Pick-Up: Just call us from the parking lot, open your trunk/back door, and we will place your items there.

Returns: Will no longer be quarantined, please use your own judgement when borrowing materials.

Computer Reservations: Call us at 497-2102 to make an appointment.

TeenToGo Bags
March Teen-To-Go Bags

Each month features a new craft. The major supplies needed as well as directions for the monthly craft will be included inside each bag.

This bag can also be used in conjunction with Let's Create ~ Teen DIY videos premiering on our YouTube channel.

This month's bag brings awareness to teen mental wellness. Stop by the Library starting Friday, 3/5 to pick up:
The Stress-Less Teen Kit. Inside find a stress-relieving craft, as well as tips and resources to help you take charge of your mental health.

Teen-To-Go bags are located in the Library foyer.
Teen-To-Go bags are for tweens & teens in grades 5-12, while supplies last.
Sketchbook Club Picture
NEW: Sketchbook Club

Monday, 3/29: Sketching is a hobby with many benefits, including improving your mood and helping you focus. Be inspired, unplug, and unwind! Register for Sketchbook Club and create a sketch based on weekly prompts from the Library. 
 
When you sign up, you'll be added to the Sketchbook Club mailing list and have the prompts sent directly to you by email every Saturday.

The first 10 registrants will receive a Sketchbook Starter Pack with everything needed to start your sketchbook journey

Sketchbook Club will run for 10 weeks with the first prompt starting Saturday, April 3. You can sign up at any time and only need to sign up once–when you register you will receive emails every week during the series.

The Curious Reader Podcast

Indulge your curiosity with Stacey & Melissa as they seek information beyond the book in this new podcast! The Curious Reader podcast is hosted by Stacey, Goffstown Public Library's Teen Services Library Assistant, and Melissa Mannon, Goffstown High School Librarian and Certified Library Media Specialist.

In their latest episode, Stacey and Melissa discuss the young adult book The Inheritance Games by Jennifer Lynn Barnes. They also explore the questions that ignited their curiosity to seek information beyond the book such as: how the wealthy live, foundations, and treasure hunts. Stacey and Melissa are pleased to share an interview with Goffstown High School Guidance Counselor, John Webb. He discusses the benefits of giving and the role teens play in helping the community.

Teen Book Bundles
Have you come to the bottom of your "to be read pile" and you are not sure what to read next? Stacey in Teen Services is here to help. All you have to do is call and say, "I want a book bundle please."

Stacey will ask you a few questions about what you enjoy reading, then three books will be selected for you to pick up. Graphic novels, audiobooks, fiction, or non-fiction, there is something for every teen.

Ready to request a book bundle? Give the Library a call at 497-2102 and ask for Stacey.
