Respect the Constitution and National Sovereignty of the Bolivian Nation
WILPF's US section joins our Latin America WILPF sections in calling for an end to the military coup in Bolivia. In the face of the forced resignation of President Evo Morales and members of his cabinet, we join with the Bolivian people in calling for the implementation of the democratic process, as laid out by the Bolivian constitution. We also call for an end to the violence in Bolivia, including that which has taken place against supporters of Morales's party, the Movement for Socialism.
Please contact your Congressional representative to assert that the US should respect the national sovereignty of the Bolivian nation and should not intervene politically or militarily.
