Invention Convention
Transfiguration students and parents learned more about famous inventions thanks to the 5th Grade Invention Convention. The event, held on Nov. 26, gave students an opportunity to demonstrate problem-solving skills independently as they presented inventions that impact daily lives. Students discussed and displayed a variety of inventions throughout history. We applaud our students for their hard work and dedication in making this event a success.

Night at the School
It wasn't your typical Friday night sleepover. Forty 5 th through 8 th grade students spent a fun night at Transfiguration on Nov. 22. They enjoyed music, food, gym activities, a scavenger hunt and a "breakout box" competition, where students worked in teams to solve puzzles and collect clues to unlock various boxes spread throughout Conlon Hall. After staying up all night with their classmates, students were treated to a hot breakfast Saturday morning before being picked up.

Save the Date

Be sure to mark your calendar for our annual Christmas concert on Dec. 17 at 6 p.m. in Conlon Hall. Students in all grade levels and the band will perform. The free event is open to all.

Also, don't forget to register for the Alumni Mass and Brunch on Jan. 5 at Noon. The event will honor alumna Charli Roberts '13 and Sister Madeline Hanson. All alumni, parishioners and friends of St. John's, Ascension Parish, St. Mary Parish and Transfiguration are invited. Tickets are available online for $10 at  http://www.transfigurationacademy.org/tfa/Alumni/
