Eclipse Season
Here is some information about these two eclipses, and if you scroll down, you still have the opportunity to sign up for the eclipse webinar on Saturday July 6 from 10-11:30 EDT where I will go into these two eclipses more fully.
In general eclipse season, these next two weeks is intense, dramatic, and revealing, for better or worse. Go with the energy or else it will occur anyway and you will be unprepared. But remember to meditate, propitiate the Sun and Moon, and reflect on everything that is occurring in your life especially when it comes to the area that the eclipse is hitting in your chart. It may be a planet, point, or angle, or if none of those, it will be going through a house.

Solar Eclipse. I always think of the span of eclipses as beginning and ending with the Node crossing the eclipse point. In these cases,
North Node/Rahu will conjoin the Sun or solar eclipse degree on October 28, 2019. That may be the day it is exact but it will be in orb for a week before and after. Whatever this eclipse is stirring up, there will be an event related to it then. If that eclipse degree hits a planet, point, or angle in your chart with a 1-2 degree orb, the eclipse is awakening whatever that stands for and you may be involved with a dilemma, project, relationship or something that will extend from July 2 through October 28, approximately. If the eclipse does not affect any planets, points, or angles in your chart, it will still take place in a particular house, so look at what that house represents. You can scroll down for some house meanings. Eclipse wake up secrets, and wake up ideas that may be dormant, so you may get an influx of energy, but you have to be patient, since this is the time, to rearrange and transform your ideas and other things in your life. Take these next few months to figure things out since eclipses bring things to the surface. And no they are not always bad. They can bring you promotions, contacts, and offers. And because this is a total eclipse, it will be more intense. Also remember that Mars already conjoined that eclipse point on June 1st, so by the time this eclipse occurred yesterday, you probably have been in the thick of what it represents in your chart.
Remember that the New Moon is a beginning, and the Solar Eclipse means that you do have to initiate a change. This is not the time to sit on your haunches regarding the area in your chart the eclipse hits.
For those of you who do Indian Astrology, please do not be afraid because it occurs in Ardra Nakshatra. Ardra represents Moisture, and while many of us think of it as sadness since moisture also comprises tear drops, it can also bring moisture to places where there is drought. On the negative side, it can bring floods, but on the positive side it can bring relief. It is not always awful.
Lunar Eclipse. The lunar eclipse of July 16 is weaker since it is partial and if you see the dates, you will see that the
South Node/
Ketu already conjoined the Moon, or eclipse degree on
March 23, 2019, which for me means that the eclipse span already began and will come to a conclusion on July 16 or thereabouts. Whatever projects, offers, jobs, or relationships that may have started then may reach a climax this month and you will be able to tell if it worked out or not. Again just as I said above with the solar eclipse, look where it is located in your chart. If you read the above, it will apply the same way. The only difference is often that the New Moon is a beginning and the Full Moon is a fulfillment or something coming to a conclusion, but it will give you often satisfaction that the job is completed, and that you know where to go from here. Remember that in January, Saturn and Pluto cross that degree so it is a reminder that what you have achieved in the area this lunar eclipse crosses, will be revised, or reviewed next January. If you are on the right path, then Saturn and Pluto will require more depth. If you are not on the right path, it will come to an end.
At the same time of the eclipses, Saturn-Ketu (South Node) will be exact on July 4th but within orb the entire month. This is the second time they are conjoining since Saturn is retrograde. The last time will be September 28. You can read more about that in past newsletters (see above) but any aspects that are strong on the eclipse or near the eclipse will play out for the entire time the eclipse is potent. W
e also have Mercury retrograde on July 7 and I have found in the past that if an eclipse occurs near a retrograde station, there may be a major event, like an earthquake, floods, terrorism, war, death or resignation of leaders, or anything that grabs our attention in the news on a global level. Because the solar eclipse path is exact through South America, there could be an earthquake that is more powerful than normal, or simply difficult politics going on. This eclipse path is going through Chile and Argentina but especially south of Bolivia. That means the eclipse was seen 75 - 100 percent in those places. They are also activated by transits to that point like the North Node in October. The eclipse itself was angular at 108 West Longitude which goes through Billings Montana down through Wyoming, Colorado, New Mexico and Mexico.
So take a few deep breaths during this eclipse season. I am not saying that you personally have to worry. But it is never a bad time to meditate, and be reflective rather than proactive. This is a time to go inward, especially with Mercury moving retrograde from July 7 - August 1. (read about that below).

Yes everyone asked me if I would do something on the coming eclipses and summer planetary weather, so I have decided to do just that. But as you know eclipses are activated beyond the date of the eclipse alone and because I was away at the wonderful

I could not do this prior to the July 2 eclipse.
We will talk about
- July 2 Solar and July 16 Lunar Eclipses (Even though the July 2 eclipse will have taken place already it will still be activated for months to come)
- When they were and will be activated. As you know eclipses are not one off events. They reverberate and activate degrees that then get reactivated when planets aspect them. How they fit in with the Saturn, Ketu (South Node), Pluto configurations this summer.
- What they will do through the houses (in relation to either your ascendant or sun sign) and if they activate certain planets
- Where in the world these eclipses might be active. I have already told my classes that if you look at the path of the total solar eclipse on July 2nd it will be 100 percent visible off the coast of New Zealand and through Chile and Argentina. But that is not the only place that will be affected. More important when is the trigger.

The workshop will be presented from a Tropical and Sidereal (Vedic) perspective because as you know I consider the planets and their relationship to one another to be most important and they will be in the same relationship to the eclipses regardless of sign and nakshatra.

Mercury Retrograde
This month Mercury stations retrograde on July 7, 2019 at 11:14 PM GMT at tropical 4° Leo 27'/sidereal (Indian) 10° Cancer 26' in Pushya nakshatra (ruled by Saturn). Mercury stations direct on August 1,2019 at 3:57 AM GMT at tropical 23° Cancer 56'/sidereal (Indian) 29° Gemini 55' in Punarvasu nakshatra (ruled by Jupiter). The inferior conjunction, which occurs midway through that cycle when Mercury is closest to earth, occurs on July 21, 2019 at
Tropical. 28° Cancer 28'/sidereal 4
° Cancer 26' in Pushya nakshatra. This is the date that the retrograde is most intense, and if you have something around this degree then you just want to be extra diplomatic when speaking to people, and making sure that you do not do anything impulsively or in haste. Mercury retrograde problems are usually not dire and life-altering but they can be very annoying. That's all.
In general Mercury retrograde will always slow up communications, since retrogrades are slow and close to the earth, while Mercury rules business, communication, travelling, and in general doing many different things at once. Because you are doing so many different things at once, it is very easy to misplace and lose things so just take note of that. The fact that it is in the middle of Eclipse Season makes this Mercury Retrograde more intense than usual. As I have said in previous emails, the first eclipse of the season is July 2 (read above), Saturn-Ketu (South Node) conjunction will be exact on July 4th, but will be in orb the entire month of July, and Mercury stations retrograde on July 7. The second eclipse is July 16 and Mercury stations direct on August 1. If you wish to read more about Saturn-Ketu, please read May-June Newsletter.
During the retrograde, try to move slowly and methodically, and do not take on more than you can chew. You may have to surrender to getting less sleep and feeling more hyper. I advise everyone if possible to refrain from completing an agreement, signing a contract, lease, sale, etc. during the time that Mercury is retrograde. However, if you must go ahead though, then just do it and try to find a good day and hour, and just do some positive affirmations. If you must, then you must, you cannot always control when things happen, however, I have to confess that I have signed great contracts and gone to great conferences, etc. under Mercury retrograde.
While this applies to everyone it especially applies to you if
you have planets, angles or points between the Mercury retrograde degrees, that is, tropical 23° Cancer 56'-4° Leo 27', or sidereal (Indian) 29° Gemini 55'-10° Cancer 26'. You will then have had the Mercury retrograde come to that degree, three times, once before it retrogrades, once as it retrogrades and once as it goes direct for a final time. If you have something on the stationary degrees, it will hit those degrees twice, but when it stations is when Mercury is most powerful.
If you do have something on the stationary degree, and it does hit your planet, point, or angle on the retrograde station, it may be calling your attention to something that you have to revise, or redo or go over more slowly and methodically. If you have something on the stationary direct degree then you might have something very unique and opportunistic happen that is represented by that planet, point, or angle. You can multitask easily and begin a new project or business venture. That is the best time to do that.
Mercury will do its passing between the above degrees starting on June 20, 2019 when it first crosses the degree where Mercury eventually goes direct (tropical 23° Cancer 56'/sidereal (Indian) 29° Gemini 55'), and ending on August 15 when it crosses the degree where Mercury went retrograde (4° Leo 27'/sidereal (Indian) 10° Cancer 26'). So between June 20-August 15 is what is known as the retrograde arc or shadow. It simply means that
Mercury retrograde will wield its influence since it will transit something three times between those degrees.
Although everyone who has planets, points, or angles between those degrees will especially feel the slowness of Mercury, ruling communicating, affecting them, it is still going to create a general feeling of the need that things are out of our control, because communication could get gnarled and slowed up. Remember that Mercury is already stationary on July 4 so get a head start on the retrograde and do things slowly and communicate clearly. Even if you do not however, look for the house that encompasses those degrees since that is the area of life affected (House meanings below). W
ork harder to complete something you might have slowed up with, strengthen your communication, mend fences so arguments do not escalate, and be careful with equipment and machinery since they could break down. This goes for the entire period of Mercury retrograde but especially is important if the degrees of stations and conjunction hit something in your chart. and of course look at the houses they pass through.
Below are definitions and of course the entire chart has to be examined before anything is decided.

Life and death cycle, research, accidents, other's money, inheritance; 9. Father, teacher (guru), religion, higher learning, opportunity; 10. Career, status, public recognition, reputation; 11. Profits, rewards, gains from work, awards, older siblings; 12. spiritual practice, secret enemies, foreign travel, debt, confinement.
Tropical Houses: 1. personality, body, appearance; 2. finances, possessions, values; 3. communication, siblings, short journeys, learning; 4. Family, Mother, Home; 5. children, recreation, entertainment; 6. Health, service, pets; 7. marriage, contracts, partnership; 8. business transactions, sexuality, life and death matters; 9. Higher education, travel abroad, publishing, law; 10. profession, status, father; 11. gains, friendships, hopes, dreams; 12. compassion, spirituality, limitations, solitude
