Leadership Contra Costa
Accepting Applications for the 2019 - 2020 Season



Sponsored by the  Walnut Creek Chamber of Commerce Leadership Contra Costa sm (LCC), the Bay Area's premier countywide leadership program, accepts 28-32 individuals from throughout the county with diverse backgrounds to participate in the program. LCC is geared to people who want to make a difference in the communities in which they live and work.   For more than 30 years Leadership Contra Costa has been helping identify and prepare community leaders. With an alumni roster of more than 800 graduates, including Mayor of Walnut Creek Cindy Silva, former Mayors Loella Haskew, Justin Wedel, and Kathy Hicks, former Assemblywoman Lynne Leach, former Concord Mayor, Lou Rosas; Martinez Mayor Rob Schroder; and Ret. Superior Court Judge Harlan Grossan, this program has proven to be an asset to the community and society.

MULTI  CHAMBER SUMMER MEGA MIXER

Join us for the annual Chamber Mega Mixer with the Walnut Creek, Martinez, Pleasant Hill, Concord, Lafayette, Moraga, Orinda, Antioch, and Contra Costa Hispanic Chambers!  The Mega Mixer provides a great opportunity to expand networking circles and learn what's happening in our neighboring cities. Attendees will enjoy appetizers and sweet treats provided by member businesses of all chambers. Montperi Catering & Events will represent the Walnut Creek Chamber with a sampling of their delicious offerings.The event typically draws 250-300 attendees.  See you there!

Calling All Organizations that Rescue Dogs, Cats, or Birds for a Documentary Filming September 10-20 
 
Chamber member, Changemakers Publishing and Writing, is looking to feature the work of seven or eight  rescue organizations that care for all kinds of pets or specialize in rescuing dog, cats, or birds. The documentary will be filmed September 10 to 20 in Walnut Creek and surrounding cities.This will be the company's 10th feature length film.
