After 16 months of public outreach, the new Housing Rules and Regulations were adopted July 2nd. Significant changes were made to occupancy requirements, weighted drawings, and livability standards.

The Department worked with local artist Cal Brackin to develop five videos that explain most of the changes to the Rules and Regulations. These are posted to the right and below, and are also available on our website .

Heemstra
Meet Julia Heemstra

Julia is passionate about her work as the Director of the Wellness Department at St. John's Medical Center and says that her passion for her work is a big part of the reason she has remained in Jackson.

Another reason? Safe, affordable, stable housing.

"Purchasing my home was an absolute 'game-changer' for me. It – literally – was a dream come true. I remember the day distinctly - and how I literally wept after everyone left because I was so incredibly grateful to finally be a homeowner in Teton County. My level of gratitude to the Housing Authority was immense – and remains immense. I could not be a homeowner without their program."
