Response Delay Times
Those of us in the PATH Intl. office recognize that many of you have experienced longer than normal response time to phone messages or emails. We apologize for this delay.

With the database conversion taking longer than planned and overlapping with the many changes driven by the new PATH Intl. CTRI certification accreditation, the volume of calls has increased at an unanticipated rate. We ask for your patience as we work to address this issue.

If at all possible, and the situation for which you are contacting the office can be sent in an email, please consider an email because they can be filtered to the appropriate person for a faster reply to you.

Rest assured we are taking steps to better accommodate your customer service needs. We have realigned some staffing, are employing temporary assistance and will soon offer a chat feature online to help answer questions in a more efficient manner.

Please bear with us in this exciting time as we complete the database conversion clean up and officially launch the new CTRI certification and transition process. Thank you in advance for your patience.
TIME TO CELEBRATE! PATH Intl. Member of the Month
50th anniversary logo_ blue logo with green banner_ 1969 to 2019
Today we introduce you to the first of two PATH Intl. members of the month for July, Sheryl Mankel!
Sheryl Mankel of Connected-Healing, LLC in Sand Lake Michigan first joined PATH Intl. in 1999 because she wanted to become certified, she'd been a center volunteer since 1977! Her favorite thing about belonging to the EAAT community is helping facilitate the connection the horse provides in healing and learning.

Sheryl's first and current career is bookkeeping, definitely a great skill to have in any field. But that's not all; she's also a Nationally Certified Animal Acupressure Practitioner! Read more
Looking for Historical Video Clips!
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of PATH Intl., we would LOVE to see any old videos you might have that showcase a look back at the past of EAAT, your center, participants and PATH Intl. Maybe open up that dusty old file cabinet in the back of a center closet (you know, the one you look at once a year and think, "I'm going to look in there some day when I'm not so busy!") to see if you might just have something. We'll take digital clips, an old VHS, whatever you might care to share. If these treasures do exist, it is our hope to compile and edit them into something wonderful for us all to enjoy as we celebrate the past and envision the future of the organization and you! Questions/Ideas? Please contact Kaye Marks.

Save the Date for This Exceptional Keynote Speaker
We are close to announcing the opening of registration for the 2019 PATH Intl. Conference and Annual Meeting, presented by Title Sponsor Purina, November 8-10, in Denver, CO. This is a conference you will not want to miss. Along with all the outstanding sessions, special anniversary celebration event and networking, PATH Intl. presents nationally known speaker and author Jaycee Lee Dugard as the awards luncheon keynote speaker.

Jaycee Lee Dugard and her horse Cowboy JAYC foundation logo Ms. Dugard will speak on compassion, self-care and the power of horses. She understands well that power as horses helped her heal from the trauma of abduction and years of physical and emotional abuse. She has a powerful story, and PATH Intl. is honored to have her share her story. Click here to read more.

Look for registration details coming in the upcoming days. And watch your mailbox for the summer issue of PATH Intl. Strides, which will contain a hard copy registration form.
Fun Facts About Denver, CO
Denver lays claim to the invention of the cheeseburger. The trademark for the name cheeseburger was awarded on March 5, 1935 to Louis Ballast and his Humpty Dumpty restaurant.
* Colorado is the only state in history to turn down the Olympics. In 1976 the Winter Olympics were planned to be held in Denver. State voters chose not to host the Olympics because of the cost, pollution and population boom it would have on the state of Colorado and the city of Denver.
* At 26.5 miles long, Colfax Avenue in Denver is the longest continuous commercial street in America.

A Note From the PATH Intl. Credentialing Council
Following successful piloting, the PATH Intl. CTRI credential transition processes will proceed as piloted. The steps and requirements to complete transition will remain as communicated in April with only the addition of certification maintenance fees ($75 for members, $95 for non-members) being implemented as of July 1. Note that the finalized credential transition form should be used going forward. (The absence of the "FOR PILOTING" watermark distinguishes the finalized form from the pilot version.)
