REC Youth Take on D.C.

Ten high school juniors from across REC's service territory spent a week in Washington, D.C., learning about our nation's government. The group got to visit national monuments, meet with members of Congress and make connections with other students from across the country. "Youth Tour was a great opportunity to meet my representatives, inform myself more about the cooperative structure, learn more about my country and ways I can hep Virginia," said Joseph Flynn, from Greene County.
