As we all anxiously await the approach of spring weather, which would normally signal the return to field trips and other end of school year events, I would like to take a moment to recognize the resiliency of teachers and students in carrying out another school year filled with changes and uncertainties. We at Rivers of Steel miss working with all of you and have hopes of seeing you in person in the fall!
In the meantime, our educators are still working to create free online resources to supplement your classroom activities. As requested by several teachers, we have uploaded new educational resources and videos to our Virtual STEM Programs featuring our chemistry lessons from the popular Environmental Science on the Three Rivers field trip. In addition, there is a new resource in our Virtual Heritage Programs that highlights the historical and industrial significance of the Monongahela River.
