The value to providers of Georgia's health information exchange increases with the addition of each new member, furthering the exchange of information and improving the quality of care. GaHIN is proud to announce connections with:
  • Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities
  • HealtheConnection
  • GRAChIE
  • Alabama's One Health Record
  • East Tennessee HIE
These five new members that are now connected with GaHIN are especially significant.

GaHIN is one of the first HIEs in the nation to provide secure, protected access to a state agency with behavioral health and development disabilities information. Additionally, GaHIN is a national leader in connecting with other state HIEs, including South Carolina, Tennessee and Alabama.

HealtheConnection is a regional HIE serving 19 counties in northeast Georgia and four counties in adjoining states. The organization has 600,000 unique patient records, 15 million lab results and 2.5 million continuity of care documents in the HIE

The Georgia Regional Academic Community Health Information Exchange (GRAChIE) serves healthcare organizations and providers across Georgia, with a strong focus on middle Georgia.
