Summer Camp at Bellwether Farm
Bellwether Farm offers a summer camp where school-age children can immerse themselves in fun, engaging activities. These programs will seek to teach healthy social, nutritional, and environmental practices, while providing a safe context in which to encounter God's beautiful creation. Campers will have an opportunity to learn about organic gardening, animal care, and creative cooking. They will also participate in traditional camp activities including swimming, canoeing, arts and crafts, fishing, field games, and archery. The Bellwether Farm staff is invested in the life of every camper, seeking to inspire future generations to become passionate leaders in the world around them.

Worship Leader Training
There will be a Worship Leader training for interested lay people in the West Mission Area on Saturday, June 29 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at St. Paul's, Oregon. The Rev. Percy Grant will be the trainer. This is a requirement for those interested in leading Morning Prayer in their parish. You need to have your rector's permission to be licensed. The license is good for three years. Forms to apply for a license will be available at the training. Big Provincial Gathering
Province V of The Episcopal Church invites you to the Big Provincial Gathering in Kalamazoo, Michigan on July 12-13. Workshops of all aspects of ministry will be offered. Education for Ministry (EfM) Mentor Training
The Diocese of Ohio will sponsor an EfM Mentor Training on  August 8-10 at Bellwether Farm. The cost for this event is $275 and includes all fees and meals.  Register by July 29. Questions can be directed to the Rev. Brad Purdom at  [email protected] or Kate Gillooly at  [email protected].

Church Architecture and Cleveland History Talk and Tour
St. John's, Ohio City is hosting a Church Architecture and Cleveland History Talk and Tour on Saturday, June 29 from 1:00-2:30 p.m. This highly energetic and informative tour led by noted Church Historian Tim Barrett takes place at St. John's as part of Cleveland History Days. This is an opportunity to take a special guided tour of the beautiful St. John's, whose legacy includes being one of the final stops for the Underground Railroad before slaves boarded boats bound for freedom in Canada. Kevin Cronin will also perform a dramatic monologue in the tradition of storytelling that traces the escape of former slaves from a Culpepper County Virginia plantation, through points along the Ohio River, Massillon, and into Cleveland. This event is free and open to all.
"Bass Regards" Concert
St. John's, Ohio City is hosting a "Bass Regards" concert on Saturday, June 29 from 7:00-8:30 p.m. Bass instructors from The Music Settlement String Department will present a lively concert of solos, duos, and ensembles featuring the double bass and electric bass guitar. Selections will cover everything from Bach to Bottesini to Stevie Wonder, as well as original compositions by the bassists. An artist meet and greet reception will follow the concert. The concert is free and open to the public, presented with support of the Gertrude W. and William O. Frohring Foundation. Street parking is available around the church, and in the Rex Auto Body lot
Vini, Vidi, Bocce!
St. Andrew, Mentor is holding a Bocce Tournament. The game nights are July 9, July 16, July 23, July 30, and August 6. August 6 will be the Super Bocce Bowl. No experience is needed. All proceeds go to the ministries of St. Andrew. The cost is $150 per team/$40 per individual. Sundays at 5 - Summer Storytelling Series
Christ Church, Huron is holding contemporary services throughout the summer at either Lake Front Park or the sanctuary at the church. The services began Memorial Day Weekend, May 26, and will go through Labor Day weekend, September 1 Throughout the series, the services will have a psychiatric nurse, a mental health counselor, the head of chaplaincy program at a Toledo Hospital, Denise and Bill Stewart, Laura Hnat, Kate Gillooley, the Rev. Kelly Aughenbaugh, the Rev. Greg Stark, and the Rev Alex Barton coming to share the story of their journey of faith.
