Tickets now on sale for Slide FXBG

The September 1 event -- which is being organized by UMW, the City of Fredericksburg and the Fredericksburg EDA -- will feature a 1,000-foot-long water slide on Hanover Street between the Jepson Alumni Executive Center and the Sunken Well Tavern. Graham sworn in to Council

Jason Graham was sworn in to Fredericksburg City Council during a Monday ceremony in Fredericksburg's Town Hall. Billy Withers, Chuck Frye and Tim Duffy -- all of whom were re-elected to four-year terms -- were also sworn in. Withers was also voted in again by City Council as vice mayor.

Library parking lot expanded
