Team Updates

Welcome to Katie Watson , who recently joined our team as our first full-time administrative assistant! She brings a wealth of experience, and we’re fortunate to have her on board. Katie is supporting both Health by Design and the Indiana Public Health Association. You can reach her at kwatson@hbdin.org or 317-622-4822.

We’re continuing to build out our team of people working on walking, biking, transit and land use issues, as well. Two positions – a statewide Active Living Program Manager and a Walk & Bike Program Coordinator/Manager for our efforts here in Indy – are now posted. Please take a look and send strong candidates our way.
We’re thrilled to be presenting our first Health Equity Summit: Changing the Conversation , on Wednesday, August 28, 2019, at the Indianapolis Marriott East .

The event will feature a national expert, Lili Farhang of Human Impact Partners , and share case studies of health equity efforts here in Indiana and beyond.

Registration is $75.00 through Friday, August 9; after that it is $100.00. Scholarships and sponsorship opportunities are available.
