ROOSEVELT’S 8 TH  Period
Roosevelt’s RISE program  is an alternative school within a school where teachers strive to create an enthusiasm for learning in students who, for various reasons, have not been successful in a traditional classroom structure. Credit acceleration needed for students to successfully graduate with their peers, is promoted within the RISE classrooms through project based interdisciplinary course work, tailored to meet individual credit needs.
For the purpose of establishing a credit recovery program that will better support the needs of students in our community, beginning this 2018-19 school year, Roosevelt is providing  CREDIT RECOVERY  options for grades 9-12, through an  8 th  Period  embedded in the  RISE  program.

Would you like to help give scholarships to Roosevelt students and grants to staff without it costing you a penny? Do you ever shop at Amazon?

Instead of going to amazon.com, go to smile.amazon.com. Register and select Minneapolis Theodore Roosevelt High School Foundation as your charity. Each time you shop at smile.amazon the Foundation will receive a small percentage of your purchase.

You just have to remember to go to smile.amazon.com instead of Amazon…..same merchandise, same prices, same service. Thank YOU!

Shop for everyone on your gift list this holiday at http://smile.amazon.com/ch/41-1927097    and Amazon donates to Minnesota Theodore Roosevelt High School Foundation.
