A MESSAGE FROM MRS. STALLMANN
Thank you to all our 5-8 th grade parents who showed up on a very rainy evening to hear our middle school teachers talk about expectations in their classrooms. It was an informative and fun night. Our K3-4 th grades will have the same opportunity next week on September 12th at 6:30 pm. Just a reminder that we will meet first in the Community Room for prayer and a few announcements.

Thank you also to everyone for working with us and our morning drop off and afternoon pick up procedures. Just a reminder that we are trying to use the south entrance only for coming into the parking lot and exiting out Churchway. We are doing this because the congestion of cars going both ways was causing issues for the apartments located there and also at the stop light. We have gotten our times down to about 10 minutes for dropping off and also picking up. Also, please remember to use the sidewalk or walk close to the fence as much as possible when you want to park your car.

Our 7 th graders left yesterday morning for their 2-day Camp Edward’s trip. I saw lots of happy and excited faces. And it looks like they were graced with good weather as well. Sometimes in the craziness of “adulting” it’s a great reminder to look at the world through the eyes of a child. Our 7 th graders aren’t thinking about what they are missing or what will be for dinner, or what work will have to made up later—they are excited to go canoeing, to muck around in a pond, to make a bonfire and s’mores, and to be with their friends.

Sincerely,

Mrs. Stallmann

 Feast on the Blacktop

I wanted to thank the children who came to practice and made announcements at Church during the month of July. I am very proud of each of you and you did a fantastic job.

Thank you parents for the donated raffle baskets, the bakery items, and for volunteering the weekend of the Feast. Lastly I want to thank everyone for coming to the Feast on the Blacktop. We couldn't have done it without you. Although it was warm that weekend, we had a wonderful turnout with plenty of food and fun. We hope to see you next year!

Sincerely,
