of Overbrook Psychiatric Hospital with Wheeler Antabanez

Local author and artist Wheeler Antabanez will read chilling poems from his new poetry collection Words of Overbrook, while showing slides of never before seen images of the demolition of Overbrook Psychiatric Hospital in Cedar Grove. Words of Overbrook picks up where his short story collection, The Old Asylum and Other Stories , left off. Copies of the book will be available for purchase and signing.
"English Tea Traditions and Royal Weddings"

Food historian and certified tea specialist Judith Krall-Russo will discuss the British love affair with tea and its customs from the aristocracy to the working class. How the British enjoy the excitement and fanfare of their monarchs' royal weddings will also be discussed. Audience members are encouraged to dress in English tea party attire and the "best dressed" will win a prize!
"First Ladies of the U.S. (1789-Present)"
with Trish Chambers

Actress, author and historian Trish Chambers will introduce the audience to all of the First Ladies of the U.S. from Martha Washington to Michelle Obama. Many interesting and informative facts about their legacies and contributions will be discussed. This program is generously funded by the Women's Club of Caldwell.

Library Receives Weekly Fresh Produce Deliveries from FIELD GOODS!!!

Beginning Thursday, October 11, Field Goods will make weekly subscriber deliveries of fresh produce to the Library from 3:30 -7:45 pm in the New Book Area. Subscribers receive 5 to 8 different types of fruit and vegetables each week from over 60 small farms that practice sustainable farming. Customers sign-up online at www.field-goods.com.
