FRIDAY FOLDERS
We apologize for the inconvenience but the folders didn't make it into backpacks today. Look for FRIDAY FOLDERS on Monday, October 8. Please return ASAP so we can get them ready for Friday, October 12. This will be the last folder before Fall Break.
From the Principal
It is a busy month for us here! Dad and Donuts, Fall Break, Book Fair, Storybook Pumpkin Parade and the Fall Festival and Parent/Teacher Conferences are all just around the corner! It is going to be such a fun-filled month!

We are in full swing academically with review units being completed and new concepts being introduced. God's presence is more evident in our hallways, classrooms and on the playground than ever before and we are grateful for God's blessings upon us this school year as we continue to build Shepherd into an amazing school. We are also very grateful for your support as parents and want to thank you for partnering with us to raise your child to be the very best they can be! Looking forward to seeing each of you this month at Parent/Teacher Conferences later this month!

Message from the School Photographer
Dear Shepherd Families,

Your children are lovely- and I have the pictures to prove it! It was so much fun to see your child's personality shine through in their portraits, and I can't wait for you to see how they turned out!

Your student's gallery is currently open for viewing.  You can find the gallery by visiting the  website .  Your student should have received a half sheet of paper following picture day with their name and personal access code.  This will allow you to view and order your student's photos.  If for any reason you have misplaced your student's access code, please email me at  beth@eosbergphotography.com  and I can get it to you right away.

If your student's photos were taken this past Thursday during our makeup/retake day, their new images will be in their galleries by the end of the day Friday.

Don't forget, there is a 10% off discount on any order $30 or more until this Sunday, October 7.  The gallery will continue to be open for viewing and purchasing until the final deadline on Monday, October 22.  Once the gallery closes, your print orders will be sent to the lab and once I receive them I will bring them to the school for distribution.  If you order digital images, you'll receive those right away.

Please email anytime with questions!
I would love to connect.

Thanks so much for the opportunity to serve you and your school!

Warmly,
Beth Osberg

My favorite school subject when I was young:

Math. My 3rd grade math teacher realized I was great at number problems but couldn't do word problems-I needed to know how to read. Instead of punishing me for not being able to read, he spent time tutoring me.
