Player Fees
In a non-Covid year, each player would pay fees totaling $115 ($40 for their ASB and $75 fall sports participation). Understanding that many families may be struggling financially and also acknowledging that under current state guidelines they are unable to provide a “regular” full season, the Tahoma School District has agreed to waive these fees.

Fundraising
The Boosters are trying hard to avoid fundraising during the season this year so the boys can focus on enjoying the season they’ve been waiting so long for. We’d like each player to secure $150 in donations either by selling 6 Jersey Mike’s BOGO cards or through direct donations to the square app link listed below. We understand that this past year has been very difficult on many families but if you have the means, please consider a tax deductible donation to the Maple Valley Touchdown Boosters or sell those Jersey Mike’s cards! Maybe consider donating the amount you would have paid in Player Fees to the MVTB 501C3 instead? Our goal is to provide our football teams with as much of a typical season experience as possible while still supporting the purchase of additional safety equipment and gear. Info on Jersey Mike’s can be found below. We are competing against Enumclaw Football, the first team to sell 500 tickets gets a Jersey Mikes lunch feed at their 2-A-Day practice!

Registration
If your player is already working out with the team and is cleared through FamilyID they do NOT need to do it again.

Spirit Wear Store
A spirit wear store will be available in the next day and will only be open for a few days. Please check your email or watch FB for the link.

Updated Calendar
Please go to the the Tahoma Football Website to find the updated calendar with more practice information. JV and C Team game schedules are still be worked out and will be added to the calendar and emailed as soon as we know.

MVTB 2020/2021 Fundraising Information

The MVTB’s are so excited to get back to the work we love….
supporting THS FOOTBALL!

Normally we would have a parent meeting but given the abbreviated season, the extenuating circumstances of this year and the generous opportunity just presented to us from Jersey Mikes of Maple Valley and owner Raffi Peltekian, we are kicking off our fundraising starting tomorrow, Monday Feb 1st and it will continue through February or until we run out. What will we run out of you ask? The Jersey Mikes BOGO cards! The cards look a little different this year. Here are the details you need to know:

*The card is $25 and 100% of the proceeds go to MVTB to support our players, coaches and managers.

*This year they are punch card style and have 25 punches. Each punch is good for one BOGO free regular sub which is over a $250 value.

*The card can be used as many times as you want in one transaction until the 25 punches are used up!

*Cards are good at Maple Valley, Covington and Enumclaw Stores

*No Expiration Date
*We only have a limited number of cards to sell and Cross-Country Boosters is also selling the same cards so the quicker we get ours sold the better.

*Cash or check payment (paid to MVTB) needs to be collected and brought to any February practice to be turned into a board member in exchange for the cards. You can find a board Member in the stadium parking lot as you come into the student entrance. In addition, we will set up a couple of other times you can meet to exchange payment for cards. Players can also exchange payment for cards at practice.  If you decide to accept Venmo/Xelle or other transfer payments from your friends or family and want to pay with your debit or credit card for their card(s), we can do that BUT there will be a $1.00 charge per card purchased to cover the processing fee. So, if you use a debit or credit card to buy 7 cards there will be an additional $7 in fees.

We also have set up a Direct Donation Link for those family members or friends who would love to support their player but maybe do not live nearby or cannot take advantage of the Jersey Mike Card. We are a Nonprofit 501C(3) and all donations are tax deductible!

Direct Donation Checks or Cash can be given directly to a Board Member or checks mailed to:

MVTB (Make checks payable to MVTB)
PO BOX 153
Maple Valley WA 98038

Boosters will be awarding Amazon Gift Cards to the top 10 players or managers who raise the most funds in Card Sales and/or Direct Donations (total money brought in). Totals will be tracked through February and prizes awarded the first week of practice in March.

1st Place=$150 Gift Card
2nd Place=$100 Gift Card
3rd place=$50 Gift Card
4th-10th place $25 Gift Card

While the season may be shorter, most of the expenses still stay the same. The Boosters were proud to provide the new practice jerseys and shorts the boys got this season, as well as providing helmet shields for all players this season. Please help us give THS Football a memorable season! #OneTownOneTeam

More Information about the season, volunteering and schedules will be coming out as soon as we have something to share. If you have any questions, please email us at maplevalleytouchdownboosters@gmail.com
